and why it doesn't always work

  • 30–40 people
  • Fixed route, zero flexibility
  • You stop where the driver decides
  • Half the time stuck in traffic

Taxi without a guide

  • Expensive for longer distances
  • Driver just drives — no stories
  • You figure out yourself what to see and why
  • Easy to miss the best spots

Amonte — private guide by car

  • Just you (or your couple / family)
  • Route tailored to your interests
  • Guide explains, shares stories, leads the way
  • Go where you want — at your own pace

Process

How it works

No complications. From "I want to go" to "let's go" — four steps.

  1. Choose a route

Browse the catalogue and pick what you want to see. Or write to us — we'll recommend what suits your interests and dates.

  2. We agree on details

Departure time, meeting point, preferences on pace and stops. Usually one message is enough.

  3. Confirm the booking

We confirm the route and date. Payment upon meeting or in advance — whatever works for you.

  4. Let's go

In the morning the guide picks you up from your hotel or a convenient spot. Then — the route, the road, and Montenegro.

Your guide Marina

About the guide

Your personal guide to the real Montenegro

My name is Marina. I am a journalist and historian, and Montenegro has been my beloved home for over 12 years. On my tours, I don't retell boring dates from guidebooks; I share living history and show the country from the inside. You might have even seen my YouTube channel, where for several years I have been talking about educational and fun vacations with kids in Montenegro. My goal is to make you fall in love with these mountains just as much as I do.

Impressions

This isn't a brochure photo

Every shot is someone's "wow". Tara canyon from above. Kotor at 5am before tourists. Sunset over Lake Skadar.

We bring people who want the real Montenegro — not the one from an Instagram geotag on the beach.

"We climbed the fortress in Kotor early in the morning — the view of the bay was ours alone. Exactly what we wanted."

— Marina, Moscow

"The guide knew places that aren't written about anywhere. We saw the real Montenegro, not a postcard."

— Andrei and Olya, St. Petersburg

"Durmitor was the strongest impression of the whole trip. Thank you for convincing us to go there."
